Can you get fired when a boss or high person overhears something you say in your own home?

Just wondering, if your boss or someone really close to them happens to be visiting people close by you and overhears a conversation between you and someone else (and you are in your own house, but the windows are open or something) , can you then be fired if that gets back to your boss? Like you were talking about issues you've been having or not liking someone in particular and you're just discussing it with a friend or co worker.
