How do i fix the main seal on my truck?

i have a 1999 chevy s10 standard, and every other day i look under the truck and they have a little oil spot and finally i found it. a friend said it coming out the main seal and that was alot of work. how can i fix this. would anybody know if theres any type of sealant that i can buy from autozone?thankyou
