What is he thinking? Does he like me?

Yes another one of those typical questions. Does he like me??? ;) This year I met this guy in my chemistry class at college and he's really cool! We're aquaintances/friends. I had a bit of a crush on him, but I did do anything about it and then I just got over it. In March he got a girlfriend and in May they broke up, but I didn't know about that until this week. He messaged me on Monday asking me how my summer Organic chemistry class was going because he will be taking it in the fall. So I told him about it and we have just kept messaging back and forth and back and forth! Every time our messages get longer and longer and we have a LOT in common! We're really getting to know each other! We kind of tease each other too with winky faces and lots of smiley faces. I can't tell if he's simply thinking about friendship or if he's thinking about something more! I got over my crush back in February, but now it's definitely back! He comments on my wall posts and sends me long messages back within an hour or two of me messaging him. (It usually takes me like 8 hours to get back to him lol) This fall we're taking the same biology class and are planning on studying together often. I just wish I could read my mind! If he was only wanting to be friends or still liked his ex-girlfriend that would be fine. I just wish I knew so I don't get my hopes up :( What do you think???
